By creating an account on RiseCrew, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

RiseCrew is a peer-support platform that allows people living with chronic illness or navigating health challenges to join support groups and exchange private messages. RiseCrew is not a medical service. Exchanges on the platform do not replace professional medical advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use RiseCrew. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Community Rules

RiseCrew is a kind and safe space. You agree to:

  • Treat all members with respect and empathy.
  • Not share hateful, discriminatory, threatening, sexually explicit, or illegal content.
  • Not impersonate another person.
  • Not promote illegal substances or dangerous behaviours.
  • Not use the platform for commercial or advertising purposes.
  • Respect the privacy of other members — what is shared here stays here.

4. Content You Post

You are responsible for the content you post. By posting on RiseCrew, you grant the platform a limited licence to display that content to other members as part of the service. You retain all rights to your content.

5. Moderation

The RiseCrew team reserves the right to remove any content that violates these rules, and to suspend or delete any account in the event of serious or repeated violations. Member reports are reviewed by the team. Moderation decisions are final.

6. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Account settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Your personal data is erased in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

RiseCrew is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The platform accepts no liability for:

  • Medical or health information shared by members (who are not healthcare professionals).
  • Any interruption or malfunction of the service.
  • Decisions made by users based on exchanges on the platform.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of French courts.
